Hello fellow cultivator,
August has been quite an eventful month for me. It included a few birthdays, a couple of anniversaries, and multiple family visits.
So, I will skip this month’s edition of Internet Things on my mind and share some of my favorite moments from this month.
All the gardening lessons and various experiments amounted to this beautiful bounty!
Diana’s 5-year adoptiversary!
Five years feels like a long-ass time, but it also feels like it was just yesterday. What is time?! Why does it keep messing with me/us? I shared more pictures from our years together here.Fostered a sassy little kitten for 3 weeks.
Earlier this month, I found two little kitties chilling in the bushes in the front yard. My partner was able to catch one of them. We fostered it for three weeks. It is with my partner’s parents now, and absolutely thriving. Here’s a picture of the two siblings when I first spotted them.Late summer blooms and the butterfly!
does it! Highly recommend checking out her newsletter, especially The Butterfly Garden, for stunning butterfly pictures.
Well, the one single picture I could capture with the butterfly. I don’t know howLastly, I celebrated another trip around the sun.
P.S.: It is important to acknowledge that this month had its share of challenging moments, in addition to the positive ones. It's understandable that visual images can often have a strong emotional impact, but it's important to remember that they don't always provide the full picture.
P.P.S.: I understand that it can be challenging to implement even when we know what we should do.
Happy birthday! I love your garden harvest. It's so satisfying to eat what you've grown, isn't it?
Thanks for the shout out 🥰 I achieve my butterfly photos with a lot of patience, and a camera that I spent way too much money on 😅 worth it, though!
Happy birthday, Asmita! And adoptiversary to Diana! Hope you've both enjoyed your month! xo
